Executive Council
Voting members, and the governing body of the association between conferences. The President, Treasurer, and Sergeant-at-Arms are elected in odd years. The Vice Presidents and Secretary are elected in even years.
Maintains order at Executive Council meetings, membership meetings, and association events.

Non-voting members of the Executive Council. These leaders advise the association on matters affecting the enlisted force.

Ten of twelve seats are open.
Committees are where the work actually happens. Most of ours have nobody in the chair.
Chairs are appointed by the President, except the Committee on Nominations, which is chaired by the Immediate Past President. Committee service does not require a specific rank. It requires showing up.
Reviews the annual budget and recommends dues rates. The Executive Council approves the budget by 1 December each year.
Drives recruiting toward 50 percent of senior enlisted end strength and 25 percent of junior enlisted end strength.
Manages the association website and official publications.
Maintains goodwill with Congress, federal and state government, and the public, and submits news feeds to Public Affairs offices.
Reviews the By-Laws and reports on proposed amendments ahead of each conference.
Supports members in a separated status and keeps them connected to the association.
Reviews applications and selects the annual scholarship recipients. This is a three-member committee appointed by the President, so three seats need filling, not one.
Sets legislative priorities, tracks federal and state bills affecting Kentucky's enlisted force, and coordinates with the EANGUS legislative program.
Reviews resolutions for adoption and forwards Kentucky positions to the EANGUS Committee on Resolutions by 30 May.
Develops policy supporting junior enlisted Soldiers and Airmen.
Places a representative in every MACOM to carry association information down to the units.
Chaired by the Immediate Past President. Prepares the slate of nominations for each office to be filled at a General Conference.
How a seat is filled
Nobody appoints the Council.
Officers are elected on the floor of the state conference. Any member in good standing may be nominated, and the floor opens for each office separately. If more than one member is nominated, the office is decided by secret ballot.
