Venue to be announced. Written resolutions are due to the Committee on Resolutions thirty days before the conference convenes, which puts the deadline at 27 January 2027.
Held jointly with NGAKY
EANGKY meets alongside the National Guard Association of Kentucky. The two associations convene together, then break into separate business sessions. Officers, guest speakers, and the awards program are shared. The voting is not.

What happens
in the room.
The Secretary reads the call of the conference and verifies credentials against the sign-in roster. Once a quorum is established the President declares the conference duly convened, and the meeting runs in a fixed order.
Minutes of the previous conference, then the President, Legislative, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership, and Scholarships. The Treasurer presents the financial audit alongside the report.
The By-Laws are opened for change. Proposed amendments are reported by the Committee on By-Laws with its recommendation before the vote.
The floor opens for new legislative resolutions. Anything adopted here is what Kentucky carries forward to the national conference.
Including any expenditure requiring a vote of the membership.
The Committee on Nominations presents a slate, then the floor opens for additional nominations on each office. A contested office goes to secret ballot. An office with one nominee is declared by acclamation.

Officers serve two-year terms on a staggered cycle, so half the Executive Council stands for election each year.
President, Treasurer, Sergeant-at-Arms. Last elected 2025.
Vice President Army, Vice President Air, Secretary. Last elected 2026.
Two things people get wrong
Proxy voting is not permitted
Not at any association conference. If you want your vote counted, you have to be in the room.
The oath is not the start date
Officers are installed ninety days after the conference that elects them. The oath is administered at the conference; the term begins later.

Sloan Convention Center, Bowling Green, February 2026. Held jointly with the National Guard Association of Kentucky.
The membership elected the Vice President for Army, the Vice President for Air, and the Secretary to two-year terms. Kentucky carried two white papers forward from that cycle. Both were adopted at the national conference in Daytona Beach in August 2026 and now sit in the EANGUS legislative program.
