We represent every enlisted Soldier and Airman in the Kentucky National Guard. Not some of them. Every one.
The muster
6,600 enlisted Soldiers and Airmen serve in the Kentucky National Guard. 303 of them belong to the association that represents them in Frankfort and Washington.
That number is the whole problem. Dues fund the scholarships and the relief. Headcount decides how many delegates Kentucky seats on the national floor. Both are arithmetic, and right now the arithmetic is against us.
Why it matters
A resolution starts in a drill hall and ends in Congress.
Any member in good standing can write one. Five stages, five votes, and the first one is yours.

One page. A problem you have watched cost people money, time, or a career, and what should change.
- State conference
Kentucky votes
The Committee on Resolutions reviews it and the floor decides. What passes becomes Kentucky's position.
- Area II
The region carries it forward
Kentucky forwards its positions to the EANGUS Committee on Resolutions by 30 May.
- National conference
The floor votes
Kentucky seats one delegate for every 200 paid enlisted members. Every renewal adds weight to that vote.
- Capitol Hill
It becomes the agenda
Adopted resolutions set what EANGUS carries to Congress. Pay protection during a shutdown. GI Bill credit for every day served. Concurrent receipt for combat-related retirees.
What membership carries
Twenty-five dollars a year.
AD&D coverage, no premium
Every dues-paying and life member under age 80 is covered by a complimentary Accidental Death and Dismemberment policy through the NGAUS Insurance Trust. No enrollment. Dues must be current when a claim is made. Not available to New Hampshire or New Mexico residents. Coverage and claim details
Scholarships awarded each year

Relief when things go wrong
Three funds serve Kentucky Guardsmen in a financial emergency. The state MFAST grant, the Kentucky Minuteman Relief Fund, and the National Guard Relief Foundation. Separate applications, and you can apply to more than one. Where to start
Legal defense coverage
Firearms Legal Protection covers attorney fees, bail bond protection, and a 24-hour hotline for members who use a legal weapon in self-defense. Sign-ups through EANGKY return proceeds to the association. Program details
Shatter the Silence
Four-person scramble at Kearney Hill Golf Links, Lexington. Team entry $400, individual $100. Carts and range balls included. Individuals are paired on event day.

First year with code KYNG. Twenty-five dollars a year after that. Membership in the national association is required to join the state association.
