September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

Shatter the Silence Golf Scramble

Friday, 4 September 2026 · Kearney Hill Golf Links, Lexington

Check-in 8:00 AM. Shotgun start 9:00 AM.

Four-person scramble. Team entry $400, individual entry $100. Carts and range balls included. Individuals are paired into a team on event day. Every player receives a swag bag, and prizes go to the top three teams.

Why join

A resolution starts in a drill hall and ends in Congress.

Any member can write one. It moves from the state conference, through Area II, to the national floor. Resolutions adopted there become the EANGUS legislative agenda.

That path is the whole point of the association. Pay, benefits, training, retirement. None of it changes on its own. It changes because a Guardsman put it in writing and enough people voted for it.

A vote that counts
Kentucky seats one delegate at the national conference for every 200 paid enlisted members. Every renewal adds weight to the state’s vote.

Firearms Legal Protection
Legal defense coverage

For members who use a firearm or other legal weapon in self-defense or the defense of others. Attorney fees, bail bond protection, and a 24-hour hotline. Sign-ups through EANGKY return proceeds to the association.

Emergency Financial Relief
Help when things go wrong

Three funds serve Kentucky Guardsmen in a financial emergency. The state MFAST grant, the Kentucky Minuteman Relief Fund, and the National Guard Relief Foundation. Separate applications, and you can apply to more than one.

Enlisted annual membership is $25. First-year members pay $1 with code KYNG. Membership in the national association is required to join the state association.
