The Auxiliary began in 1973, when a group of spouses met to discuss forming a national organization alongside EANGUS. It was chartered the following year with eleven state auxiliaries. Today it spans forty states and two territories.

What the
Auxiliary does.
Scholarships for spouses and dependents
The Auxiliary runs its own scholarship program, separate from the awards EANGKY offers. Applications are submitted through the national Auxiliary.
Family support
Fellowship and practical support among National Guard families, particularly during deployments and family crisis.
Legislative advocacy
The Auxiliary backs the association's legislative work on benefits for Guard members and their Families.
Conference planning
The Auxiliary helps plan and run the joint annual conference and holds its own business session alongside ours.

Three levels, same as the association. A Kentucky spouse should start with the first one.
President, Kentucky Auxiliary. The Kentucky Auxiliary meets at the annual conference and conducts its own business session. Spouses and family members interested in joining should reach out directly.
EmailDirector, EANGUS Auxiliary Area II. Kentucky sits in Area II. The Area Director connects the state auxiliaries to the national organization.
President, EANGUS Auxiliary. The national office handles membership, the scholarship program, and the Auxiliary side of the annual conference.

Kentucky does not run a separate Auxiliary website. Membership, the scholarship program, and Auxiliary conference business all go through the national organization.
Membership in the Auxiliary generally requires that the associated Guard member hold current membership in EANGUS and in the state association. Confirm current requirements with the national Auxiliary.
