Sergeant First Class McIntosh serves as the Truckmaster and Readiness NCO for the 2123rd Transportation Company (Medium Truck), Kentucky Army National Guard, in Richmond. He is responsible for the readiness and dispatch of the company vehicle fleet, operator licensing and training, and the safe execution of unit transportation missions.

He enlisted in the United States Army in 2009 as a cannon crewmember and was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 11th Field Artillery, 25th Infantry Division. In 2010 he deployed with the battalion to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom X and Operation New Dawn, performing Quick Reaction Force operations, presence patrols, and Key Leader Engagement security.

He entered the Kentucky Army National Guard in January 2013 and was awarded the military occupational specialty of 88M, Motor Transport Operator. He holds a secondary specialty of 13B and serves as a full-time Active Guard and Reserve member of the Kentucky Army National Guard.

His assignment history reflects steady progression within Commonwealth transportation and maneuver formations. He served as an operations specialist with the 75th Troop Command and as a driver with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 149th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, before joining the 2123rd Transportation Company as a heavy vehicle driver in June 2016. He served in a motor transport operator assignment at Frankfort from November 2017 and returned to the 2123rd as Truckmaster in September 2022.

Sergeant First Class McIntosh resides in Richmond, Kentucky, and is the father of two children.
