EANGKY promotes the status, welfare, and professionalism of Kentucky's enlisted National Guard members. We give Soldiers and Airmen a collective voice on the issues that shape their service, their benefits, and their families.

Six commitments.
The By-Laws define why this association exists. These are the six, in plain terms.
Advance the enlisted force
Promote the status, welfare, and professionalism of the enlisted members of the Kentucky National Guard.
Promote national security
Support the readiness and capability of the National Guard as a component of national defense.
Award scholarships
Offer annual scholarships to deserving members, spouses, and children of members, living and deceased.
Assist members in hardship
Provide financial assistance to members and their Families during hardship and family crisis, supported by donations and available funding.
Support units and Families
Back unit activities, family support programs, and Service-related events across the Commonwealth.
Participate in patriotic activities
Represent the Kentucky enlisted force at ceremonies, commemorations, and community events.
Since 1972
Our history.
ENLISTED ASSOCIATION NATIONAL GUARD OF KENTUCKY INC was incorporated in the Commonwealth on 8 November 1972 and has operated continuously ever since. It remains an active Kentucky non-profit corporation in good standing, organized under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
In February 2026 the association convened its 55th Annual Conference at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green. Fifty-five annual conferences amount to more than half a century of Kentucky Guardsmen setting aside a weekend to conduct the business of their own association.
None of that ran on its own. Every officer who has served, every resolution carried to the national floor, and every scholarship awarded traces back to members who paid dues and did the work.

How Kentucky's voice travels.
EANGKY is the Kentucky chapter of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States, and Kentucky sits in EANGUS Area II. A concern raised at drill can become a national legislative priority. The path is short, and it is written down.

Any active member may submit one. There is no rank requirement and no sponsor to find.

The membership votes
The floor debates it and decides what Kentucky carries forward.

Delegates carry it
Delegate strength is tied to paid membership, so the size of the roster sets the size of the state's vote.
- Capitol Hill
It becomes the legislative program
Adopted resolutions form the agenda EANGUS takes to Congress on behalf of the entire enlisted Guard.
Current focus
What we are working on.
Recruitment, renewals, and engagement in every Army and Air unit in Kentucky. This is the foundation the other two rest on, because delegate strength and program funding both follow the roster. The By-Laws set the target at 50 percent of senior enlisted end strength and 25 percent of junior enlisted end strength.
Mentorship and leadership opportunities at every level, and seats for Kentucky Soldiers and Airmen at the professional development sessions run during the national conference.
Policies and resources that support Kentucky Soldiers, Airmen, and their Families. That work runs on two tracks, Frankfort and Washington, and both require someone in the room.
Membership
The voice only carries
if you are in it.
First year with code KYNG. Twenty-five dollars a year after that. Dues fund delegates, resolutions, scholarships, and hardship assistance.
