EANGKY | Guard Relief Offering

The Enlisted Association National Guard of Kentucky (EANGKY) presents an opportunity to apply for an emergency grant (referred to hereafter as the “Guard Relief Offering”) to any current or former Kentucky National Guard member, is an EANGKY dues paying member of at least the present six months (Life, Annual or Associate), and who has experienced a short-term financial hardship.  The purpose of the EANGKY Guard Relief Offering is to provide financial assistance to an individual who is in need on an urgent basis. The Guard Relief Offering may not be applicable for cases that appear to be in need of long-term financial support. The EANGKY Guard Relief Offering Committee has the right to adjust or disapprove an applicant’s request and may consider providing assistance other than monetary help. EANGUS | WCFA COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund

The We Care For America (WCFA) COVID Emergency Relief Fund can provide financial assistance to current and former National Guard members who are experiencing financial hardship due to having lost their primary income, or who have an increased financial burden as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Grant funds should be utilized for basic household needs such as food, housing, utilities, medical services, childcare, and other essential family support items which have become difficult to afford as a result of the national pandemic.  Click the link for the online application. EANGUS | WCFA S.A.R.G.E. Grant

WCFA offers an opportunity to a current or former enlisted National Guard member who is in good standing and is an EANGUS dues paying member (Life or Annual) who has experienced a catastrophic financial hardship and/or personal property loss to apply for a Soldier & Airman Relief Grant for Emergencies (hereafter referred to as “SARGE”).  Grants may be used for financial hardships related to events such as mobilization, natural disasters, fires and other catastrophic losses.  The grants are intended for otherwise non-reimbursable expenses (i.e., not covered by insurance) due to these events and include medical bills, utility bills, rent or mortgage payments, groceries, relocation, shelter due to loss of residence and funeral expenses.  Other expenses, not listed here, may be deemed appropriate and approved by the committee.  Click the link for the online application.
